Is it a Boat? Is it a Car? No it’s a Piano!

Following on from my post about National Piano Month – with all those beautiful instruments on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, I’ve since come across an equally attractive – yet far more modern – piano.

This piano – shaped like the hull of a boat – is designed in such a way that the pianist’s hands can be seen from almost any angle. Somewhat surprisingly, it was created by Peugeot – the French car manufacturing company. Peugeot worked with piano manufacturers Pleyel to produce the Pleyel Peugeot Piano.
